The other two seniors on the squad, Claudia Kunzer and Monica Arens, have not made any decisions in the open. Jeremy Hoeck of the Yankton Press & Dakotan spoke with Arens, who has been out this season due to injury, and she said that she is still considering her choices.

Chloe Lamb Added To POY Award Watch List

Chloe Lamb of South Dakota has been added to the midseason Her Hoops Stats watch list for the Becky Hammon mid-major Player of the Year award in 2022. She is one of the fifteen players mentioned right now.

Lamb attended Sully Buttes High School and grew up in Onida, South Dakota. She arrived at the University of South Dakota after a stellar career with the Chargers.

In their press release, Her Hoops Stats emphasised how Lamb’s statistics on the court have improved this year.

The Coyotes’ super-senior leader Lamb has maintained her scoring totals from the previous season while improving as a distributor. Lamb has increased her assist average to 0.6 per game and her assisted shot percentage from 14.5% Without her turnover rate increasing in response, it increased up to 20.4%.

Becky Hammon, a fellow South Dakotan, gets honoured with the Her Hoop Stats player of the year award. Hammon attended Stevens High School while still in high school and is a Rapid City native.

finished her high school career at Sully Buttes High School with back-to-back South Dakota Class B Championships in 2016 and 2017; she is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,913 points; she also added 631 rebounds, 651 assists, and 404 steals; in her senior season, she averaged 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, six assists, and four steals per game; she was also named to the first team of the state four times and the all-Yellowstone Trail Track and Field Championship, a member of the National Honour Society and a three-time recipient of academic letters, served as a junior delegate to South Dakota Girls’ State.
