Scoring

The receiving team attempts to pass the ball to the selected setter using the serve-receive mechanism. The formations that the offence uses to defend its court in the event of a blocked attack are known as coverage systems. Players go to designated locations around the attacker to dig up any ball that deflects off the block back into their own court.
